I had a beautiful, healing accidental unassisted homebirth

I had a beautiful, healing accidental unassisted homebirth. I read a hypnobirthing book and was ready to have an amazing birth.

That coupled with denial about how far I was in labour was why we never even made it out the house.

I breathed through contractions basically all night, around 1am I decided to time them and they were around 40 seconds to a min long, average 3 mins apart. At that point I called the midwife, she said to come in.

I went to wake my hubby and go pre, but when I reached the bathroom I knew we wouldn't make it. Got down on my hands and knees and with hubby om the phone to the midwife, I birthed our baby in the bathroom.

Everything was so calm and peaceful and big bro was non the wiser fast asleep in his room.
