Childbirth classes?

So my hospital offers childbirth basics, a tour, and a breastfeeding class. I plan to do all three since I’m a first time mom. How far along are you normally when you do these things? I’m 16 weeks now.

I just started a 3 week childbirth class last Tuesday at 28 weeks. There was one other girl due a week before me and everyone else was due way before me. But the other class they have starts when I’m around 36 weeks pregnant and I was worried that would be too late. There’s one girl who is 36 weeks pregnant and she said her dr laughed when she told him she was started a 3 week class so close to her due date. Honestly, I feel like I’m a little early but it’s also a little reassuring just in case I do for whatever reason go into labor early.

I’ll be taking my childbirth class at around 33 weeks. My breast feeding class at about 31. I took my tour already at 27 weeks.

Near the end I was booked at have classes at 34wks with my 1st, but I ended up having him at 33wks.. lol
