Ideal people for a baby shower ? Please read description...

Question

Hubby and i both have large families,  we would take this time to make it a family reunion as well.  It is our first baby AND i have not fully met everyone in his family as well as him with mine.
Option one would be mainly females in the family.
Option two would be if mostly everyone attended with kids/spouses.
Option three is family and friends we share..

I couldn’t imagine more than like 35 people at my baby shower I’d just have close family and friends

whatever fits your style is fine. From experience, baby showers have the least amount of attendees compared to birthdays and weddings and what not. If you turn it into a family reunion type thing it may have a better turn out. Even if you do a female only shower, your SO can have a guys only diaper party and guys go do what guys do, golf, fish,shooting range, etc (whatever your guy likes).

We only had CLOSE family and minimal friends and made it coed (spouses invited) and had about 80 people at my baby shower. It was great and super fun! If you or the host can afford to throw a party that big, go for it 😊

With so many people, I’d do a separate friends shower. The family reunion-style sounds like a nice way for everyone to meet.

We have large family on both side and I’ve been perplexed over this too.  I defs DON’T have all the answers...😂 But I’ve been thinking about myself and my personality...I’m a big party person and love LOTS of people so I think we will probably go bigger or better!!!! But if you hate big parties...go smaller.  🤷🏼‍♀️
