Is is long distance?

Okay so my boyfriend and I live about a hour and 1/2 from each other. We are currently arguing (lol) about our relationship. He thinks we’re not really long distance because either one of us can make the drive & see each other. I say we are long distance because its not like we’re right around the corner & neither one of us are driving everyday an hour 1/2, however we do see each other often. So who’s right? 😂 When do u think a relationship becomes “long distance?”

It's a distance.  Category doesn't matter, what matters is learning how to juggle it and make it work.

I don’t really consider that long distance. There’s people that commute that far to work every morning.

My boyfriend lived in Ohio and I lived in the middle of PA. 5 hours away from each other. An hour and a half really isn’t long distance in my opinion. Only because of how far away me and my boyfriend were from each other at one point.

Im on his side, not long distance. I see long distance as a plane ride needed or the drive is so long you cannot see eachother often.

My SO and I spent were 1400 miles from each other and seeing each other when you’re that far apart takes a lot more effort than driving 90 minutes. Consider yourself fortunate. I definitely wouldn’t consider 90 minutes a LDR.

my husband and I lived thirty minutes from each other. college he lived an hour away.  it wasn't considered long distance because where I'm from they are the closest schools.

I wish I could drive 1/2 hour to see my SO. It's like 27 hours. I love in Kansas and he lives in Washington State, but to each his own!
