Magnesium + calcium supplementation
Hi!
As you mamas know, prenatals don’t have much calcium and magnesium in them. I take Garden of Life raw prenatal and 600mg DHA (Wiley’s Best). I don’t eat dairy at all and eat very little meat - I was vegan for years but ditched this a few months ago. I do eat spinach, almonds, and avocados regularly so I am getting some natural calcium in my diet. However, I feel like I should be supplementing as I am probably not consuming enough for both me and baby.
I have taken this brand (Bluebonnet) in the past and was wondering what you think. Do you think these are safe to take during pregnancy? My first doc appt isn’t until Aug. 13th. I’m 5 weeks today! Thanks in advance! 😘
