Don’t believe in birth control?????

I am planning to start taking birth control soon and I am just really incorporating with the fact that it changes your hormone levels. I am generally kinda homeopathic and don’t take a lot of medication ever, so doing this just doesn’t seem right to me. I know that it’s good bc then I won’t have to worry abt getting pregnant, but I just cant seem to get past this part

there are non hormonal methods: copper IUD, female condoms, Male condoms, diaphragm, spermicides, cervical cap and sponge. the copper IUD is the most effective out of these options.

Im the same way.. i didnt want bc for years bc i didnt want all the hormones and chemicals in me. I got the arm implant ive only had it for a year and its been horrible.. im getting it removed tmrw

I'm crunchy and I don't like hormonal birth control and will not put that in my body. plus I know many women who have gotten pregnant while on hormonal birth control. it's not 100%. there are many many non hormonal very crunchy birth control methods to choose from. and no they are not 100% effective but if done correctly they can be be just as effective as the hormonal methods. and if you do 2 non hormonal methods (for example fertility awareness method and condoms) you'll get added protection. I've been married 13 years and have never used any birth control besides fertility awareness method, condoms, and pulling out and we've never had an unplanned pregnancy. but we know there's a chance just like with any other method.
