Anxiety for 36wk appt situation... advice please

Next week is my 36wk appt and I didn’t know this was when ‘down there’ checks were going to start.

At my OB practice there are 5 Drs and the one I don’t really like is doing the appt. I don’t feel comfortable going into this.

Also, because of their scheduling my appt had to change to later in the day and my hubby can’t get out of work to come.

What should I do? My anxiety about this appt is freaking me out. I need to just deal with it because for all I know this Dr could end up being the one delivering my baby. But I just don’t like the vibe I got from this Dr the one and only time I met him. What would you ladies do? I thought about asking a close friend to go but it’s sort of last minute. Or just have them have another nurse in the room for sure which they probably will anyways.

Afraid of something happening this visit and having to be taken into delivery. Just the most crazy ideas are coming to me and driving me nuts!!!

Should I let them know my worries when I get there? I’m afraid my BP and anxiety gonna freak me out when I’m there.
