is it possible to be in love at 14? I genuinely belive I love my boyfriend. we've both told eachother that we love one another. a lot of people think that teens arent emotionally mature enough to know what love is, but me and him have the most genuine bond. Hes truly my best friend and I can tell him anything, and I know thats its not lust. just say your opinions below!

Imma be real with you, I remember seeing something earlier about loving too early, we open up for love at a young age thinking we're ready and then we just end up with broken hearts and expectations. We all have pretty long lives ahead of us, not everything lasts or goes how we want it. At least not in my experience
What you're feeling is different than what you experience as you get older, don't get too attached but enjoy yourself also
Companionship isn't wrong, just protect your heart when you're young is all I'm saying

No. I thought I Loooooooooved my bf at 14. Until he cheated on me. We had been together over 2 years at that point and were inseparable.
Met my husband at 16 though.

There’s no doubt you love him. I’m sure you do. The only thing about loving so early is you love hard and think you’re only going to be with this one person forever. Then, say you are with them for 5 years, you’re 19 now and something happens, you break up. You’re going to be hurt, you’re going to feel like you’ve wasted your time. Love is defined in many ways, you’re experiencing young love and nothing is wrong with that, but as you get older, you’ll experience other forms of love until you stumble upon your true love. And the only way you’ll know it’s your true love is to experience the other forms of love to compare. Enjoy your young love, but keep in mind that you will grow and mold into the person you’re meant to be, and if you grow apart from your current boyfriend, you will be okay and so will he.
