my SO's bday is in July as well as our daughter's birthday and our anniversary, needless to say July is very busy and expensive for us. since his bday is towards the end of the month we are totally strapped for extra cash. this year I decided to surprise him by throwing a small get together with close family and frie.ds that are basically family. I'm happy to say that he was totally surprised, didn't see it nor expect it. he is happy and therefore I am ecstatic!!!
