I just need to vent for a minute, sorry in advance lol. Am I the only person whose baby shower has become way more stressful than celebratory?? Mine seems to have slowly turned into being about everyone else and not our baby. Not to mention no one RSVPs, no one actually looks at the registry or asks what you need, I’m basically doing all the work for it myself at almost 8 months pregnant because people don’t follow through on what they say, and I really feel like I’m just spending money feeding and entertaining people who have shown zero interest in the pregnancy or the baby because it’s a societal expectation to have a shower. It’s next week and I’m so stressed about the whole thing 😩
