Should husband join the confirmation of pregnancy appointment?

Question

I am going in at 5w 4d for confirmation of pregnancy appt (earlier than usual because I had a chemical in May) but wondering if anyone had gone in for this kind of appt this early, and if it’s worth my husband coming. I am thinking it is probably just me peeing in a cup, maybe a little bloodwork, and discussion with my doctor so he wouldn’t miss anything, but thoughts or experiences welcomed!

My husband didn't go when I did the blood test but he came to the first ultrasound at 8 weeks.

My husband has always gone to our first appointments. It’s good bonding for us and I don’t have to relay all the first appointment crap to him ❤️

I’ve had 6 babies and my husband never once missed an appointment. He wanted to be there for every appointment with every pregnancy.

I went by myself to confirm the pregnancy as my doctor literally takes a sample, does a test and tells you basic dos and donts and then refers you onto the local hospital.
He came to the first hospital appointment with me as we had our scan at that one ☺️

Mine came to my first because they did a transvaginal ultrasound and a lot of information was given to us. He hasn’t been to any of my other appointments because they are literally like 10 minutes. He is going to the gender scan though.

My boyfriend comes to all appointments. It helps him feel more in the process and experience everything he possibly can, since he’s not the one physically caring our baby. I personally love that he wants to be there for it all!

No need for him to go unless you’re getting an ultrasound, and it’s probably too early for that. I didn’t find out the results of my blood test until the next day.

My husband has gone to every appointment this time. He only went to ultrasounds last time and we ended up losing our baby at 17 weeks so he never got to hear his heartbeat like I did. I also like to have my husband there Incase we get bad news
