Can you take ibuprofen while pregnant?

I have a terrible headache and I’ve been waiting for my SO to bring me Tylenol for 3 hours. At this point the headache gets worse the angrier I get from waiting... will a sip of ibuprofen hurt?

My dr told me not to, and I said pretty please, and he said, well, in the first half of pregnancy it’s okay very occasionally.

How far along are you? In third trimester it’s a big no no. But taking it once in first or second trimester is fine. Taking it consistently can cause excess fluid to build up around baby and cause many issues.

Only regular Tylenol! If the headache is really bad, take your blood pressure and make sure it isn’t high. If blood pressure is ok, I’d try chocolate or a tiny bit of caffeine. Also more water. Good luck
