Gender selection shettles method?

Has anyone used this app to track ovulation while using the shettles method for conceiving a specific gender? My husband and I would really like to have a boy and I'm wondering if it would really work or if it's just another old wives tale. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Nothing will work besides medical intervention. The sex shouldn't matter.

No method is going to make it more likely to have one sex over the other. It all depends on which sperm (X or Y) is the one that fertilizes the egg. That's something that you can't control no matter how many methods you try. I wish there was a way it worked but unfortunately it's all pretty random.

I think it works I wanted a girl given I'd be happy with either I just already have a boy and wanted a little girl as well so we did the methods they suggest as far as what you should eat, sex positions, when to have sex and yep I'm having a girl this time! :) now that could just be luck of the drawl or the methods did work lol!
