WIC??

Question

WIC doesn’t take into account taxes does it? My husband will be making around $85000 a year but only 58,000 after taxes. They don’t take that into account do they?

If he’s making $85k there’s no way you’d qualify for assistance. Really work on budgeting and stick to it and you’ll be shocked how much money you really have. Check out Dave Ramsey and the Total Money Makeover, it’s incredible and will change your life if you’re willing to put in the effort

Wic, Medicaid, pretty much any state assistance counts before taxes. It sucks and is why I couldn’t qualify for pregnant women’s Medicaid. We’re on a single income and bring in less than what your husband does. We make it comfortably, it just takes budgeting, cutting out extras you don’t need, and self-control with spending. You can do it mama!

WIC/Medicaid is so dumb! They do only take in to consideration the before taxes. I believe if you need help though you need help and no one should be turned down if they can prove they need help.
