What to expect after birth?

First time momma here. Just wondering what to expect after delivery. I am going to talk with my OB at my appointment on Friday but y'all usually give me great input so I thought I'd ask here as well.

-How long did post baby bleeding last?

-What kind of pads do you recommend? (I haven't bought them since I first experienced a period so I am out of the loop.)

-How long until you were feeling semi normal again? (this pregnancy has been extremely brutal from the very beginning to now at 36w4d)

-What was your experience like post birth, in general? Anything I should expect?
