I'm 6 years older than hubby....should we try or wait?

I'm 33, hubby is 27. I feel like my clock is running out and I feel pressure to conceive. He thinks we should wait and enjoy married life and travel. Am I right to panic?? Should I just chill out? I don't want him to feel rushed into kids just because I'm 6 years older than him, but I'd also never forgive us if we miss our opportunity just because we wanted to go on a few more holidays! All of my friends have 1 or 2 kids, none of his have any!!

that's a tricky one! You're 33, still pretty young. But before you know it you'll be cold". I was 33 when I met my husband and he was only 25! We got married but he wants me to have a lot of children with him, I already had one and I'm pregnant with the second at 36. He still wants at least two more. A little tricky but my fertility doesn't seem to be low yet.  I'd say you still have a good year or two you can relax and do a little traveling. But it's almost Grind Time.

I feel the same way.. I’m 33 and I feel like time is running out! My husband is 4 years younger.. just talk about it. How important is having kids to you? For me.. I can’t risk never having another, it would devastate me. If this is how you feel too.. he should understand.

Girl wait!! Enjoy your man. I’m 35 my hubby is 29. We’ve been married almost 1.5 years and we starting TTC in March. No luck but come to find out I did a terrible job at charting. But there is no rush!! And no real recent studies saying 35 and over is your clock running out. Human bodies do amazing things. Just relax and enjoy each other and you will have your babies when the time is right 😀✨💗

Depends on how many kids you want. Also, I would suggest that you use a barrier method of birth control instead of hormonal. I've been trying for 7 months now and am turning 35, and I'm worrying that I can't have two like we wanted. I wish I had gone off if hormonal birth control years ago. It can take a year to get out of your system, so you don't want that on top of the difficulty in getting pregnant as you age.  It kind of sucks that your husband is younger, especially since he doesn't have the pressure that we do to have children. It might be a matter of perspective for him - not quite understanding that it could take (and will likely take at least six months to just conceive) a looooong time of activity trying to get pregnant for it to actually happen. My advice is to not wait any longer than a year and get off. birth control now if you're on it
