Doctor appointment- Worms

I found roundworms in my sons diaper. 5 months old I ALWAYS wash his hands and wasn’t aware that the new dog we got had worms bc the previous owner told us that they had gotten rid of them.. anyways I figured if he has them then we probably do bc we all wash our hands etc. so I figure it’s because they’ve licked us and got in that type of way. Which I didn’t know could happen I’ve always heard it’s by touching their feces and not washing hands, soil, food, etc. but does anyone know if they will test my hubby and I or just the baby? Will he give us medicine for all of us just Incase or just bubby? Thank you guys in advance.
