First Time (pet) Foster Mom!!

So I admit I'm a bit animal obsessed. LOL. I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I used to bring home every orphaned and sick animal I saw when i was young (my mom hated it, not an animal person lol) and used to dream of being a veterinarian or caring for animals in some way when i was old enough. However life frequently doesn't go the way we'd like so unfortunately I'm not a vet or anything similar but I am finally a foster mom for the Humane Society! Today my first foster came home with me. Her name is Puffy, she's a gorgeous Ragdoll (her clear blue eyes are stunning), who's sadly had a very bad time of it. She's been adopted and returned 3 times!! No one wants her. 😞 All because she has Inflammatory bowel disease. This means she gets diarrhea causing litter box issues sometimes but I have an adopted cat of my own with the same thing and as long as he stays on his diet with low stress he's perfectly fine. No issues! She deserves a home and love too so I'm her best chance. All the adoptions and returns to the shelter have her really stressed and scared which is not at all helpful so I hope being with me will be a lot better for her and maybe we'll find her a home with an understanding pet parent. I'm excited to try and help her and excited to be a foster mom!! I just wanted to share my news. 😊
