Itchy vagina

I had protected sex about a week ago. He fingered me while I wasn’t wet so it irritated my vagina. I started my period as we were having sex. My vagina has been itchy right at the vaginal opening. I haven’t had any abnormal discharge or vaginal odor and i haven’t started using any new body washes. Any ideas? Could it still be irritated after a week from him fingering me while dry, or could it be an infection or STD?
