Feels like I'm getting my period

I'm 36 weeks, 4 days. I've been getting cramps and aches in my tummy. It feels like I'm going to be getting my period. That obviously is not the case, but it's driving me nuts. That along with those slicing pains in the cervix area. It was almost every 5 minutes. How does anybody else deal with it? I know it's not labor but after a few hours it's starting to drive me nuts regardless!
