Spotting twice since last period and now 12 days late

So I had my period very heavy like normal, lasted 6 days which is average for me and stopped straight away, a week later before ovulation I started spotting for about 3/4 days, very light on and off, then nothing for a good two weeks and then started spotting again for w days, I’m now 12 days late and will be going to get a test tomorrow just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar and can advise? Reluctant to call doctors as mine are useless!
