timing... help!?!?!

my husband and I have been TTC for over 7 months. Based on bbt and cm I thought I had ovulated Friday and we dtd every other day last week. my gut told me to take a opk tonight and it was positive.. here's the kicker... he's at work (on midnights) and I work at a hospital. By the time he gets home in the am I'll be at work and we won't have a chance until I get off work tomorrow at 5pm because he's off tomorrow night. I know we don't have an option but to wait until then, but will that be too long or is there still a chance? edit: could the opk be wrong? on Friday I had ewcm and just now it's creamy and not sticky at all? We did dtd on Friday and everyday leading up to it until our schedules didn't match up Saturday and today
