I had a miscarriage that started on June 29th. I miscarried the baby in July 3rd. I bled for around 5 days and it was an early miscarriage (3-5 weeks)... so basically a chemical pregnancy. I read a ton of stuff online about how if it’s a chemical pregnancy your body will most likely have your period on time. Another thing I read about regular miscarriages is that it can take 4-6 weeks for your period to start. Ovulation also takes place around 14 days prior to the start of your period. Well, I was counting on my normal 36 day cycle and with that being the case, I would’ve ovulated around the 19th. I kept getting negative pregnancy tests and so I gave up a few days ago but still haven’t gotten my period. It’s 3 days late. So, that means that my period could be due closer to the 6 week mark and I would’ve been taking pregnancy tests while I was ovulating, thinking I was in the 2ww. So, I could actually be pregnant. I know it’s a super long shot from a point of desperation, but I just really wanted to put this out into the universe. I have hope... even if it’s not likely, I’m sill hoping. We did still have sex around the time that I ovulated if my cycle was leaning towards the 42 day (6 week) mark. Just really hoping that I’ll get my bfp soon and can start planning for my rainbow baby. If I don’t get my period in the next week, I’ll test again.
