What do you think?

I make a good £4000 every 2 weeks minimum... £8000 pay a month without fail at work (own a business and this is how much I make in pay not our monthly turnover) and my partner makes £280 every 2 weeks regardless of what hours he works. I.e., can work 40 hours a week and therefore 80 hours for 2 weeks and still end up with £280 pay day. I dont like the people he works with. Horrible drunk men and slaggy women. He likes 1 person at work and the way I look at it is... He can see this guy outside of work (as this guy is only part time)...

my point is... Is it wrong for me to ask him to be a stay at home daddy? I own my own business and need to get back to work as soon as possible after giving birth. Working for myself means I have to stay on top of everything and whenever I get home I'm exhausted and struggle to do other things like the washing and the cleaning because I am just soooo exhausted!! I understand some people just need to work but I feel like we would work so much better if my partner was a stay at home daddy..

I'm not sure how he'd feel about me asking.. Is it too rude of me to ask? I mean there are thousands and thousands of stay at home mommy's so why not a stay at home daddy?

Would you ask if you were in our shoes? Or is it too inconsiderate?
