head cold or west nile virus?

my husband and I have spent the night at my friends house since Saturday night. we grilled hot dogs that night and which I did put on mosquito spray since the west nile has enter their area. I haven't been bitten by a mosquito yet but yesterday coming home my throat seem to have a little irritation in it so I figure that I was getting a sore throat so all night last night my throat bothered me and this morning I still have the same feeling in my throat but I think my sinuses are draining in the back of my throat to cause my throat to have a little bit sore throat feel. I feel cold like chills and I checked my temp and its said I had 98 something but I feel like I have fever. any suggestions? I'm really scared here
