Spotting instead of period?

So I’m now officially 15 days late for my period. I feel nauseous sometimes and somethings things smell awful that they didn’t used to. Well a week after my period was due I spotted brown blood when I wiped.

That’s never happened to me before. Instantly my husband was so happy and thought we were pregnant !

We’re now 15 days late and still negative tests... I’m scheduled to go to the doctor in a week and half. Has this happened to anyone? Are my chances good that I could be pregnant and it’s just not showing on the at home tests?

Help a sister out! This has been our 8th month TTC and I’m exhausted so what do you ladies think?
