Breastfeeding in public

Amber

I’m just wondering how to get over the fear. I have a three month old and I literally don’t go anywhere because I’m too nervous to make someone else uncomfortable with me breastfeeding my son. I would cover up if I did it but still. One time we went out to dinner and there was so many stares already so when my son started fussing I went to the bathroom to nurse but then a line formed waiting for the bathroom. I just couldn’t win so we left before we finished eating. I don’t want to give him bottles because he’s used to my breast and it’s just easier. We nurse of demand since I’m only working one day a week. Did you eventually get over it? Am I just overthinking it?
