Bigger baby sleeps more??

Question

Any mamas with bigger babies? Mine was born at 8 lbs 13 oz and weighed 8 and 5 a week ago. He was 5 days old. 
Now he’s 12 days old and sleeping more-3.5 hours ish before wanting to eat again. He is breastfeeding 80% ish. Anyone else? I know he should eat more but he fills up and falls asleep. I’m really not concerned about his growth. We don’t have another ped appointment until next week. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My baby was same. He's  month old now and growing great. I was doing  2-3 hr. thing like all books say, but child health nurse told me later in week 1 when she visited to go with him and if he sleeps longer ( especially at night),  to follow his lead and feed him when he demands. He was 8.5 lbs at birth. So check with your health practitioner

You should be waking him to eat until he surpasses his birth weight. He should be eating every 2-3 hours.

My son was 9.1 lbs at birth and oooohhhh my I got THAT baby that hates sleep. He’s almost two and still doesn’t require much sleep at all like me 🙄
