Periods and Vagina Wash

can switching to a new feminine wash change or throw off your period? I be had symptoms of my period like feeling wet, very clear discharge, and 5 days ago had a little bit of dark red blood. I’m supposed to start today and haven’t, wondering if that might have thrown it off!
