My c-section is scheduled for 7am tomorrow! I can’t believe we made it here, all the way to 38 weeks. In some ways it feels like I’ve been pregnant forever, and in others, it feels like it has flown by. I’ve spent the last 7 months in anticipation that I would possibly go into labor early, and now I’ve made it the whole way. For those of you earlier on in your twin pregnancies, you can do this! I was so scared when we got the news that we were having twins. I read all of the articles on the internet talking about everything that can go wrong, but I have a different story. I worked as an ER nurse all the way to 37 weeks pregnant. No pre-eclampsia, no gestational diabetes, no pre-term labor. I know that isn’t everyone’s story, and regardless, every single one of us that are or have carried multiples are strong in a way that no one else can understand. I’m just thankful to have continued to feel good for the duration of this pregnancy, and I’m praying for a smooth delivery and healthy babies tomorrow. I just can’t wait to hold my two little guys!
