Lost youth???😨😰😣21 yr age GAP

Ladies...any of you who have dated a much older guy (at least 15 years your elder)👩🏾👴🏾
...Do you feel like you lost your youth to him in a way? Do you feel that he has tried to take or has taken your youth away from you in some way? 🤔🙄
Please help and if not I’m this situation, experiences from those you know in this situation are welcomed. 👍🏾🗣

Also he met me when I was 22. Seriously guys sometimes I think to myself, it was God’s decision and it happened for a reason. But most times I feel embarrassed to be with him but I used to didn’t feel like this (in my drug induced states...2 years clean🙌🏾). We just had a baby together. (6 months old) . He also takes care of his old wheel chair ridden mom in which I feel all his time and energy goes. His face has aged a lot and he looks older than he normally used to. I’m not attracted to him anymore guys. 🤷🏾‍♀️ anyone ever been in my situation?

I haven’t been in this situation but it’s understandable you are young & have adjusted to a older lifestyle since your man is much older than u. If you aren’t attracted to him anymore or don’t see the chemistry talk to him about it and express urself. You don’t have to be with him you guys can still be great parents as you live your life and find someone closer to age that’ll keep you still feeling young & attracted and not embarrassed..lol

Me and my boyfriend are 15 years apart and have been together alittle over 2 years now. It can be confusing at times and those feelings that you are losing your youth at times are normal, I would say. Honestly if you love the guy and the relationship is healthy and working then there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and you should embrace it💖 it’s hard not to worry about what the world thinks (believe me I started dating mine when I was 18) but at the end of the day it’s YOU that has to be happy, ya know? 💞

My SO is 27 years older than me I’m 30 he’s 57 and I absolutely love the bones off him like the age gap is sooo insignificant as we have such a laugh together and the love is clearly there, I feel as though you’ve lost a certain spark or your having a FOMO moment which isn’t good. 
Because I’ve done everything at such a young age like became a mum @ 19, married at 22 and separated/divorced at 28 I’ve gone through what most women at 35-40 so I’ve grown quick. 
You need to speak to ur partner and tell him how you’re feeling, honesty is the best policy in these situations, it sounds like you may need to be on your own just for a little while till you discover what it is you truly want in life as I wouldn’t advise for you to promptly get rid of your fella and get with someone your own age because you could end up living In regret x

My so is almost 19yrs older than me. I honestly don't feel like he took my youth from me. I was 25 when we got together, 26 when we had our first son and I am 30wks pregnant now. We have pir differences but we both enjoy doing the same things so I don't feel like I've lost out on my youth. If anything sometimes I feel bad about us having kids cause he never had any before me but he also agreed to them. Our biggest problem now is his sex drive has went WAYYYY down and just looking at him makes me want to jump his bone 😂😂 I'm still very much attracted to him but I also love older men!

If your aren't attracted to him or want to continue a good relationship with him it's not fair to him, You, or your little one to continue. It probably won't get any better and will fester your resentment. You have to be be happy.

I dated a man that kids was only three weeks younger than me.I regret letting it happen.Over time he manipulated me. I wish I didn't do it. It was like I was reading the first chapter of the same book he finish reading twice. Not only have we live totally different lives because he lived his life in the 80s. But we had different had different views because of our age Gap. I didn't feel socially connected to him. I lost attraction to him over time. I became extremely unhappy in the relationship became stressful because of the gap between our ages. I can't speak for everyone who's dated someone extremely older. But I can say that my experience was something I wish I didn't do. Before I knew it talkin to him felt like walking on ground trell and mines work, if I start to happen over absolutely nothing and political views we're different just because of our age difference. All about problems stemmed around the fact that he was so much older than me. He wasn't a perfect guy but his age difference made it extremely impossible to even hold a relationship with him. I won't tell you what to do because I feel that you should do what's best for you but in my personal experience I would advise you to co-parent and move on. When we broke up I was 22 and he was 45.

Are you happy? Does he treat you right? That’s all that matters. My cousin’s boyfriend is 15 years older than her and he makes her feel like a princess every day. I used to think it’s not going to last but 5 years later i could not see her with anyone else. In the beginning when I was trying to talk her out of dating him she said to me “would you prefer if I wasted my time with boys my age that are not even half as mature as I am.. they just want sex and then they’re off to the next one like they are on a mission to conquer all”she was 20 then.
