MIL steals my social media images

Izzy

So I went to my in laws yesterday and was SHOCKED to see my MIL had the few pictures I've shared of my daughter on Facebook and Instagram. One she had printed out and cropped weird to remove a water logo for the photographer, others were straight up from my Instagram/Facebook and were on her digital frame. As I watched, she had even gone back through my old pictures to save them. This is the same woman who saved all my pregnancy announcement photos and uploaded them to her Facebook in her own album. 🤷🏻‍♀️ (She did not do this for her own daughter's pregnancy).

I find this crazy! She doesn't ask for permission, plus I think it's weird that my personal moments are forever saved and on display at her house two hours away. Although now that I just typed that out I know how rediculous it sounds because if they're personal why did I put them on Facebook?

I noticed that very recently (like this summer) she's started saving her own daughter's social media posts to her digital frame as well, but there's not nearly the amount from my own account. There are more and older from mine. And no - my husband is not her favorite child.

This alone makes me not want to share anything any more I'm social media. Who else has saved my daughter's images on their devices?

Anyone else have to deal with this?
