Ovulation test remains positive when pregnant?

Is this true? My friend told me she got a positive ovulation test every day after she ovulated and that’s how she knew she was pregnant. I’ve never heard this before. Anyone else attest to this theory??

I got a faint positive pregnancy test at 12dpo so I took an ovulation test to see if it was true and it was a blinding positive

Supposedly, because the test can not determine LH from HCG, but they aren't very reliable for that. If you're sure of your cycle and still getting a positive opk then follow up with a FRER or other early detection.

I took one when I was late and got a faint and then tested with a pregnancy test right after and it was positive.
