Can anybody help me?

Me and my husband are currently pcsing. I have no idea what I am supposed to do or how to go about things. We will need to be in a hotel but will the army pay for it? We are really tight on money so I don’t know if we would be able to get one without some type of help from them. I would love any advise on how to go about doing things from a spouses standpoint to help my husband.

He should have a government travel card. Its basically a credit card and its used for pcs or tdy.

yeah so they should ask him if he wants an advance. you can take that advance but personally we didnt. the military will move your stuff for free, they will come to your house and pack it up. we then drove from California to oklahoma. KEEP YOUR RECIEPTS!!!  we payed everything on our credit card, and once he inprocesses at the new duty station, they will take him to finance and he can submit all receipts. and I mean all, we had recipets for gas, food, our 1 night hotel stay. everything and then some got reimbursed so we actually made money. we spent about 1k of our own money (we drove 2 cars), but we got reimbursed about 3k

The army will pay to move you. As for hotels you pay out of pocket first then after he goes to finance youll get the money back.
