SO problems

Ok so I have a 4 1/2 year old daughter and I've been wanting to have another baby. My daughter even wants a baby brother or sister! I have been ready to start trying for baby #2 for a year now...only problem is my SO says he's not ready. I want my children to be close not 10 years apart in age!! I have asked him about it he says he wants more kids just not now been that way for over a year now. I'm still young 24 but it hurts that me when he just gets mad and says NO.....
