Me and my boyfriend have been ttc for the past 8 months. (wasn't probably going to happen the first few because I just got off birth control then) Give me some need-to-know advice or secrets to conceiving. We need some help here. I feel like maybe we just cannot have babies together. :(

How long have you been off birth control? If it was the pill it can take like 6 months for your body to regulate once going off (sometimes longer)...not sure about other forms of birth control because I was on the pill. Try not to stress about being unable to get pregnant...I've heard it can take on average a year for a young, healthy couple to get pregnant, and there's other factors that can prolong it. Are you using opks? If not you should look into them...they can help pinpoint the best time to be trying. Also remember, any given month you really only have like a 30% chance of getting pregnant, so as hard as it is, just try to enjoy the process. I know it's difficult, I've been off birth control since October and we started trying in April...I just want it to happen already haha. Good luck!

8 months is nothing to worry about. Your body probably took 6 months to regulate from bc. Wait til its 8+ years then you'll know about long waits. I've been waiting 13 years!  And it finally happened!!! Don't give up!
