Mirena Removal

Hi!! I got my Mirena surgically removed today after 6 1/2years. It was dislodged from my uterus, one doctor said that there was a chance that it was even working, causing too much damage to carry again. I’m supposed to take 2 full week out of work, when the plan was originally just 2/3days. They ended up doing 3 incisions instead of just 1 since they couldn’t find it. I’ve been doing ok got discharged 7 hrs after being in the hospital, I’m sore & my steristrips bled a little while I was sleeping. They’ll be calling me in the morning to check in, so I’ll let them know then, but I’ve also noticed that it stings/hurts to pee. Did anyone experience this after the procedure? Or any withdrawal from it?
