Baby Shower

Our first daughter was a still birth born at 8 months (2013) Our next child a girl (now 3) born (2015) Both children we were stationed in WA so we never had a baby shower we pretty much got what we needed on our own and that was it. In 2016 we both finished our contracts so we moved to Tennessee where my SO’s family lives. My family is from Louisiana so it’s semi close. Would it be shitty of us to want a baby shower now that we are closer to family and friends and etc? Also when the military moved us we lost 2 boxes of clothes that contained sizes : preemie, newborn, 0 to 3 months as well as my maternity clothes and a few other breast pump supplies. The VA is getting us a entire new pump set and etc, we bought my maternity clothes. I was just wondering what you ladies thought? I haven’t said anything to my SO or families bc I don’t wanna come off as needy but with this being our last baby I kinda would like to feel what it’s like with a baby shower and etc as well as maternity photos, we never done those either...
