Idk if right group but question about FMLA

I live in Cali I’ve been at my job for more then one year full time. I’m going through Inferitily treatment and I’ve already exhausted all my sick time. I do get vacation time but at my job you literally have to beg for it and has to be submitted and approved months in advance.

That being said I spoke to HR and I was very vague on my condition I just told them that I would need to miss a few days out of the month maybe like 2-5 due to an on going medical condition. She gave me forms to give to my dr office.

So would that be something that would be covered for FMLA?
