It just plain sucks.

To start from the beginning, I have a younger sister who lost her mother at the age of 5. We have the same dad, different mother. I met her after her mother died (long story but wasn't close to my father and reconnected after a few years) she was an innocent child who loved many things and smiled often even after her mom. She lives with our father, some years pass and she turns 12. At some point I find out she is watching porn on her ipad. I confronted her, spoke to her. Tried not to push her away but guide her, she cried and came up with different excuses on to why she did it. She said her friends told her to or she's just sad because her friend is leaving so she concludes to this which doesn't make sense. She promised not to do it again. Eventually she does. I also find out when she was dating a 21 year old, supposedly "without" ny father's knowledge. I was livid and concerned and saddened. That problem was taken to the authorities where nothing could be done because there wasn't "evidence". Whatever... the things I discovered from her... being a 12 year old living with my father who really isn't a damn father frightened me. She would speak to men and women online, write sexually so many things I really can't wrap my head around it. I tried to help... but nomatter what I did, our father would simply undo. Child services is out of the question because there is no one else to look after her and the system in not the place for a child... I know too many broken souls who have come out of the system and I don't want something else to break her...

Recently I found out she has an instagram account where she blocked all her family and is posting pictures of herself in swimsuits. Zooming in on her ass and breast even though it's covered from her bathing suit. But is this what it has all come down to in this generation? Damn sex and showing your body at such a young age??? 😔😔
