Is this pain normal?

I am 36w 5d. I have been having menstral like cramps all day. No Braxton hicks. Lots of pressure. It is so uncomfortable, I can imagine this lasting another 3 weeks!

I agree that you should get checked if you are worried. My friend went in to get checked for menstrual like cramps and had an emergency c section on the same day at 36 weeks. I also have menstrual like cramps and doc says I am totally fine. Just to take things a bit slower

Been having that feeling for a few weeks now and I'm almost 36 Weeks. My doctor is going to check me Tuesday. She said its just stretching and my body preparing for what is to come! Unless it is accompanied by bleeding or contractions, she told me to drink more water and try not to worry!

I'm 36.3 and I've been feeling exactly what you described for about 2 days now. Hoping it means I'm moving in the direction of labor 😬

I had cramps and lots of pressure. My doctor checked me and said I was 1cm dilated and 75% effaced at 35 weeks. She checked me yesterday, at 37 weeks and I'm 3cm and 75% effaced. She told me he could arrive anytime now. So, don't panic, but get checked if it will make you feel better, or just know this is part of it all and ask at your next regular appointment.

I would go in and get checked. I've been feeling the same way. I went in and got checked and wound up being 3 centimeters dilated 70% effaced. I'm 34 weeks and 3 days.
