Is anyone using a pack and play instead of a crib?

Baby will be in a pack and play in our room until she’s sleeping through the night. That’s when we will move her to a crib in her own room

I was 110% on team pack and play, it worked so well for my sister and my nephew but my husband really wanted a legit crib. So we have a crib, I still plan on getting a pack and play for downstairs and while traveling.

I am at first, it has a bassinet portion in it.  Later on we’ll move her into a crib! Just didn’t wanna spend money on a bassinet when she’ll only be in there for a short period.

We'll do the bassinet part of a pack n play until about 6 months and then move her over to her crib. This is what we did with our first and it was great. We did put him in his crib for some naps right away too though.
