Maternity Leave

When did you go out for maternity leave? My last Son water broke at work but I was in shape a lot better and working a normal schedule. This time around I’m working rotating 12 hour days/nights and I’m exhausted. I’m 35 weeks and hoping I can make it all the way but I physically don’t think I can. I can barely make it up my stairs everyday without dying. My dr would let me be off sooner but I can’t give up my time after he’s born. Just wondering when other moms went out. I know all pregnancies are different but I feel so weak and stupid that I can’t even do anything at 35 weeks :(
