What else besides a baby shower can you do to celebrate your new baby?

Besides a baby shower I don’t think there’s much else. Depending on your religion there may be other celebrations, like we will have a baptism. And then there are their birthdays each year. 
Also, how much celebrating do you need? I mean other people are happy for you but besides a shower they’re not gonna wanna keep celebrating the same baby over and over

There is something called a blessing way, I’ve always wanted to have one.

Some cultures do a 100days party after the baby is born. 
There’s also something called a “Sip and See” for when baby arrives- women come and there’s tea and lemonade (and other beverages) as well as ginger sandwiches and a chance to hold the new baby. I’m absolutely not doing that cuz I’m having a baby in September during the start of flu season!
We celebrated with a shower and will then celebrate again when he is about 2 months old at his Baptism.
