Question for anyone who cans or makes jelly/jam:

Wasn't quite sure where to post this but here goes. How do you pronounce "gelling" (i.e. the gelling point of jam)? Do you pronounce it with a "G" sound like "good", "grape", etc. or with a "J" sound like "just", "jelly", etc.? I pronounce it with a "J" sound and have never heard it pronounced any other way until today when my parents and younger brother kept saying it with a "G" sound and I was confused as to what they were saying. They keep trying to tell me that everyone pronounces it like that and I'm wrong even tho basic English says that I'm right and everything I've looked up on how to pronounce it says I'm correct also. How do YOU pronounce it?
