My mom never let me be barefoot outside as a kid.. So at one point when we lived with my aunt when I was about 9, I'd see my cousin running barefoot outside on the street and just be barefoot all over the place. I decided it would be a good idea to do the same, cause why not, right?! 😅😂 I looked like a newborn Bambi or something! I couldn't walk. My feet hurt and every little rock felt like stepping on a Lego or worse! 😅😂 I do tend to go barefoot outside to the car sometimes to grab something, but never again all the way to the street. I've tried it a few times just to see if it was just me, but nope.. Still feels the same way.

I almost never wear shoes when the weather is warm. When I was a kid I would come in the house with hot tar on my feet from playing in the street with no shoes on. I’d say my feet have probably touched more pavement than shoes 🤣

Yes I used to walk outside barefoot all the time when I was a kid, mostly so I could ask people walking by my house if I could pet their dogs 😂
