Moving with freezer stash
My son was born premature and because of size and latch issues, the doctors recommended exclusive pumping and bottle feeding from that at least for the time being. I pump every three hours and have a GREAT supply. So much so that I already have a huge freeze stash built up after only three weeks. My husband got laid off several months ago and finally found a new job but it’s 6 hours away from where we currently live. When we move the drive will take even longer because we will have to stop every 2-3 hours to feed the baby. I REALLY don’t want to lose this supply that I’ve built up but I’m not sure how I could transport it and it still be frozen when I arrive. Would dry ice in a tightly packed cooler do the trick? Any suggestions? Is it a lost cause?
