Is my son's name "too white"?

To start off, I'm a FTM, and 33 weeks pregnant with my little boy.
My son's father and I decided to name our little boy Kenneth James-Kenneth after my stepfather(who I consider my father), because he stepped in and has raised me since I was 5, when he didn't have to.
When I announced my son's name on Facebook, I got a lot of backlash and hate toward his name because "it sounds too white for a mixed kid".. my son is half white, a quarter Hispanic, and a quarter black. 
As far as I knew(because apparently I was wrong), a name didn't have an ethnicity..

The fact that people think it’s too white just says they’re kinda racist. I’ve known Kenneth’s of multiple ethnicities, and they’re both strong names. It’s your baby at the end of the day, not theirs.

Im getting a lot of crap also. My children are half white, half black. I'm naming my girl Ruby after my GMA who raised me. My SO is black and a member of his family actually said to me that i at least had to give her a black nickname. I actually said, tf did you just say to me before being hurried out of the room by him. LOL. Yea, he knew where that was headed real quick

DONT LISTEN TO THEM!!! It is your baby, do what you want. Don’t let other people influence something that doesn’t affect them. The name has a meaning to you personally. Isn’t it more important to have a name with a meaning to you than a traditional Hispanic name? People in this world are very judgmental but you shouldn’t let that decide your baby’s name. Overall it is your choice and the other people will get over it. Once this baby is brought into this world others will learn to love that baby and whatever name you have chosen for him.

Just be nice and say it’s cute but some people can’t! If it were me, I’d start cutting down my fb ‘friend’ list. The only Kenneth I knew was a tall black Nigerian prince. So... Idk if it gets much blacker than that 🤷🏽‍♀️
