Mirena question

So I got my Mirena in March and everything has been great. No side effects at all. Well I did my monthly check right after my period ended yesterday and the string felt easier to touch than normal but I didn't think too much of it. *Tmi alert*Well tonight my dh and I had dtd and he said something about was the strings being almost at opening. Do I need to call my doctor first thing in the morning? Has this happened to anyone? I'm really confused on what I need to do. Thanks in advance.
