Decided to skip period, but now spotting?

So I decided to skip my period because I didn't feel like having one. So I took 21 pills then started the next pack. It's time for me to start my period and there's no period until Saturday and it's pretty light compared to my other periods that I normally get. Yesterday (Sunday) I barely had bleeding. Is this normal? I mean I did just go on a trip to West Virginia and worked on houses and had some stress so maybe that could be why (?) took all pills as directed
